The programs eligible for the scholarship are distributed between two of the leading educational institutions in Germany:
- At the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden):
- Master of Science in Computer Science (M.Sc. Computer Science).
- Master of Computer Modeling and Simulation – Applied Artificial Intelligence Track.
- Master of Computer Modeling and Simulation – Computational Life Sciences Track.
- Master of Science in Nanoelectronic Systems (M.Sc. Nanoelectronic Systems).
- At Leipzig University:
- Master of Science in Data Science (M.Sc. Data Science).
- Master of Science in Bioinformatics (M.Sc. Bioinformatics).
- Master of Medical Informatics (M.Sc. Medical Informatics).
4. Eligibility requirements and selection criteria
- Eligibility: The applicant must be a current or prospective student in one of the qualifying programs at the universities of Dresden or Leipzig.
- Research relevance: The field of study or research thesis should be directly related to research and applications of artificial intelligence (including the ethical, legal, or medical aspects of artificial intelligence).
- Academic GPA: Academic excellence is a basic requirement, and it is preferable that the cumulative GPA after conversion to the German system not be less than 1.7 (the closer the GPA is to 1.0, the better in the German system).
- Supporting diversity: The grant strongly encourages applications from women in STEM fields, as well as special humanitarian cases (such as those who have faced systemic challenges, political persecution, or asylum and displacement situations).

6. How to apply (roadmap)
- Two separate tracks: A separate application for academic admission to the university (Dresden or Leipzig) must be submitted in parallel with the scholarship application; university admission does not automatically guarantee the scholarship.
